Dr. Teti is remarkable. She performed my rhinoseptoplasty 1 year ago. When she first evaluated me, I had already undergone two prior surgeries, however, with less than desired outcomes regarding appearance and function.
She was very considerate in discussing options for approach and presenting her recommendations while upholding a shared decision-making process.
Her bedside manner is spot-on; very kind, patient, and empathetic. She was able to understand what concerns/questions I was trying to convey, even when I did not always know exactly how to articulate. And very detail-oriented. As for the surgery itself, Dr. Teti is incredibly skilled: she saved my nose.
She carefully rebuilt my nose (where it was sinking/collapsing and re-deviating) so that it was sturdy, but delicately enough that I looked like myself. I naturally have sharp and delicate features with thinner skin, and she reconstructed my nose while maintaining my look.
It has been one-year post-op, and I now have a more aesthetically pleasing and natural nose (from all angles), and frankly, I feel beautiful.
But most importantly, I CAN BREATHE! She gave me a functional and beautiful nose. The doctor is beyond excellent.

Dr Teti is hands down the best surgeon in Hampton Roads. After months of interviewing other surgeons and inquiring how to improve a failed surgical correction from a post-cancer facial surgery, another surgeon recommended I contact Dr Teti.
I immediately felt at ease when she took the time to investigate my breathing concerns as well as empathize with my insecurities regarding the shape of my nose and nostrils without judgment.
What impressed me most was the time she invested in understanding what exactly I wanted and then translating that into what would be best for my overall breathing and comfort. Ultimately she repaired my cancer defect on my nasal ala with a cartilage graft but also completed a Nasoseptorhinoplasty resulting in a nose that has given me confidence and now I breathe substantially better with comfort. During my preop and post-op, she was so kind to my mom who was waiting for me.
She took time to explain the surgical process and how best to care for me in recovery. When I woke up my mom said to me “Boy oh boy that Dr Teti is an angel. She really cares about her patients.” Dr Teti’s compassionate bedside manner, flawless attention to detail, and inspiring work ethic easily make her a leader in her surgical field.
