Dr. Sparano uses various peeling agents to improve the appearance of the facial skin. Most peels are superficial or moderate-depth peels as deeper skin treatments are better served with laser skin resurfacing. Our peels are applied to create smoother and more youthful-appearing skin by correcting superficial facial wrinkles and pigmented lesions, especially around the eyes and lips. Facial peels are most helpful when combined with other skin treatments and an effective topical skin care line in general. Our most popular peels consist of various strength glycolic or kojic acid peels spaced at 3-4 week intervals. Chemical peels are an effective way to rejuvenate the skin with a healthy appearance.
